Jammu, Oct 25: Kids Campus, an International Pre School, Channi Himmat, Jammu celebrated International Chef's Day 2013 by promoting the theme, "Show Your Culinary Ability".
The week-long programme to celebrate Chef's Day, which falls on October 20, started with an array of culinary workshops for kids with a passion in cooking to learn the art of sandwich making in the school premises. The kids tried their hands to make sandwiches for them with the help of teachers. The teachers demonstrated the recipe of sandwich making and the kids were really delighted to make "Vegetable & Cheese Sandwich" for them wearing their own chef's Cap. Aditi Gupta, Director of the school said, "If you are good at what you do, you can play your small part in feeding the planet in the future. Chefs can make an impact on people's lives with their skills, and it goes beyond just pure pleasure on the plate." |
