Udhampur, Oct 25: Ayashman Bandral a student of National Academy High School, Udhampur adjudged 1st position in district level Art Mela under RMSA held here today. The function was organized by the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Udhampur. Field Advisor State Institute of Training, S.K. Raina was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer, Udhampur was the guest of honour on the occasion. Shipali, Student of G.H School Seen Brahmana 2nd position and Preeti, Student of G.G.H.School Ramnagar 3rd position Shipali, Student of G.H. School Darsoo 4rth position, Vishal Singh Student of Government Higher Secondary School, Majalta 5th position and Simran Sangotra Student of Government High School Garhi 6th position, respectively in the Art Mela. The participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit. A total of 40 students from different schools of district Udhampur participate and showed their creativity talent and innovative ideas though different events like paintings, drawings, portrait, paper work, wooden work and local art of the area. While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Education Officer asked the teaching community to make every effort to encouraged students to show their aptitude in art and other curriculum activities by holding programmes in their respective schools. Principal DIET, Udhampur in his welcome address highlighted the importance of Art Mela and said that the programmes help to enhance the artistic and creative attitude among younger generations. |
