Jammu, Nov 16 : Annual General meeting of Federation of Industries Jammu was held today at BBIA Bhawan, Bari Brahmana under the chairmanship of Balbir Gupta. The meeting was attended by all the elected office bearers of BBIA, AOI Gangyal, SSIA Birpur, Digiana, Samba and Kathua. President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) Annil Suri was unanimously elected as chairman of Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) for 2013-14 under which all the registered Industrial Associations of Jammu Province are affiliated. This is his 3rd term as chairman of this apex organization of Jammu Industries. Balbir Gupta (President AOI), Romesh Badyal (President SSIAB), Vinod Rishi (President Samba), Devinder Verma (President Kathua), Ajit Bawa (President Kathua) and Jatinder Aul (President Digiana) were elected as co-chairmen. Varinder Jain, (General Secretary AOI) was elected as Secretary General FOIJ and Lalit Mahajan (General Secretary BBIA) was elected as convener FOIJ for the term 2013-14. Annil Suri while taking over the charge as chairman FOIJ expressed his gratitude to the outgoing chairman and applauded the contribution rendered by Balbir Gupta and his team for the benefit of the industrial sector. During the meeting burning issues confronting the industrial sector were also discussed. |
