Jammu, Nov 17 : BJP Prime ministerial candidate Narinder Modi's Jammu rally is likely to be huge crowd puller and the state unit of the party is busy in finalizing arrangements to make the programme a huge success. The BJP MP and Prabhari J&k Avinash Roy Khanna who was in Jammu for two days and held hectic meetings with party senior leaders, Morcha Prabharis, district Presidents to discuss the arrangements for rally to make it one of the biggest programmes of the party in the State. Modi has earlier visited the State a number of times and addressed various party meetings at different places here. He also addressed election rallies during 2008 assembly elections at Bishnah and Akhnoor. But December 1 rally has gained much importance as Modi this time is campaigning for the party to seek people's mandate for installing a BJP led Government at Centre. According to sources, the party has received instructions from high command to set up control rooms in every Mandal and so far four to five such control rooms have been established, sources added. Sources said Modi being in VVIP security category extra steps for the security of his rally have been taken and the administration was also in touch with state BJP leadership in this regard. Sources said through BJP leadership have not divulged how many people will attend the rally but have given indications that it will be one of the biggest rallies of party in the state. Sources said Modi being a crowd puller for the party, people in large numbers are expected to attend his rally from across the length and breadth of the state and BJP leaders have not to make much exercise for the same. |
