Awareness programme on biodiversity organized at Dool

KISHTWAR, Nov 16: As a part of National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC), Government Girls Middle School Dool organized different programmes on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation" which include painting competition, debates and a rally that marched through the main parts of village Dool to aware the public about "Biodiversity Conservation". The school management distributed prizes among the students who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd in painting competition and debate. On the bases of performance, Shamas Din and Afia Ayoob of 7th class and Asia Banoo of 6th Class were declared as 1st, 2nd & 3rd position in painting and in Debate, Alia Ayub of 8th class, Waseem Ahmed of 6th Class and Ilyas Ahmed of 5th Class secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Sarpanch, Panches and other prominent personalities of village took part in the programme with full enthusiasm. The mementoes and commendation certificate were handed over to the winners by the Headmaster of the School Vipna Devi in presence of the School Staff and other dignitaries who were present in the programme.
