MBO, BMEO visit health institutions at Ghat

Doda, Nov 16: On the directions of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Ghat Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Block Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (BM&EO) NRHM Block Ghat Mashood Latief conducted visit to many health institutions of the Block Ghat.
During his visit, BM&EO NRHM Mashood Latief inspected PHC Gundna, Sub Centre Malwana, Sub Centre Sheyal and New Type PHC Tantna where he took stock of the functioning of these health centres and also checked Mother Child Tracking System and Child Tracking System register and instructed the staff about the maintenance of these registers.
After visiting these health centres, BM&EO NRHM Mashood Latief held an awareness meeting with the staff of PHC Gundna, Sub Centre Malwana, Sun Centre Sheyal, New Type PHC Tantna, Sarphances, Panches, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and respectable people of the area. While interacting with them, Mashood Latief gave a detail account of various schemes launched by National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) to improve the overall health scenario of the state.
He stressed upon the NRHM doctors, paramedics and Asha Workers to reduce home deliveries, enhance the number of institutional deliveries, promote menstrual hygiene scheme in the area.
Moreover, he also highlighted all the core activities of NRHM like JKY, JSSK etc and asked the people to come forward and take benefits from various central sponsored schemes of NRHM. He further briefed the AHSA workers about the various incentives of them and stressed them to work hard with dedication in their respective work.
Meanwhile, the staff of PHC Gundna also held a medical camp on this occasion and examined hundreds of patient hailing from far flung areas of Gundna belt.
Those present on the occasion included Dental Surgeon Dr Tahir Muneeb Zargar, Medical Officer Dr Hamid Parray, Dr Shabnum Rozy, Dr Ali Jan and other paramedic staff of PHC Gundna and other health centres.
