Sports Reporter JAMMU, Nov 16: The NGR Club registered a big 5-1 win against Mussa Club to launch their campaign in style in the Jammu District Football League, organised by Jammu District Football Association at GGM Science College ground, here today. Kamal Thapa opened the account for NGR, who netted the ball in the 17th minute. The second goal came in the second half of the play through Roney (41st). Garry helped the side make it a big win scoring two back to back goals in 60th and 68th minute. Umar netted the fifth goal in 72nd minute. Last 10 minutes of the game witnessed three goals, including one from Mussa Club in the 69th minute. Vikrant scored the only goal from losing side to reduce the margin. Today's match was officiated by the technical penal including Kushal Sharma, Saudagar Mattoo, Vijay Kumar and Sanjay. Earlier, the tournament was declared open by president of the J&K Football Association (JKFA), Jameel Thakur, who was chief guest. Treasure of the JKFA, R K Kohli was guest of honour. Prominent among others present were district Jammu president, Kuldeep Singh, Association vice president (Jammu zone), Surinder Singh Bunty, district Jammu secretary, Mohan Lal, S M Gill, Yusuf Don, Narinder Gupta and David Masih.
