Jammu, Nov 17 : A high level meeting was held with Kiran Wattal JMC Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation in a delegation led by Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement that apprised the worst rising traffic problem, and the worst condition of the roads of the winter capital Jammu city and particularly the localities of the Jammu "west constituency".
Sunil Dimple urged Kiran Wattal and the Govt to make Jammu a model capital of the state. He said the Jammu is becoming a slum city and no development taking place in the Jammu city. Sunil Dimple sent a strong reminder to the Govt through the JMC Commisioner Kiran Wattal against the worsening traffic problems of the Jammu City.
He said no Govt Agency ERA, PWD, R&B, JMC, JDA, Traffic departments owns the responsibly, work with coordination and all the signal lights has been put on halt. He demanded for the construction of multi storied parking at Panjtirthi, Supper bazaar Shalimar, and at Bus Stand Jammu. Sunil Dimple demanded the JMC Commissioner to ensure the quality of the eatables, curd , milk, cheese, meet, and the essential commodities. He demanded to continue the anti adulteration drive and ensure the quality if the Govt has increased the rates of the milk, cheese curd and the eatables. He demanded for the construction of the Municipal markets for the daily bread earners and allot them places to earn the livelihood.. Dimple demanded for the construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla Manda to High Court Janipur to Roop Nagar, Bantalab and Jewal Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwat Nagar canal road to ease the traffic rush problem on the Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, Bantalab Road and on canal roads to save precious lives of residents of these localities from the road Accidents. Kiran wattal JMC Commissioner gave patient hearing to demands raised and assured Sunil Dimple that all the demands will be met. Kiran wattal assured that anti adulteration drive will continue and the khilafwarzi and the encroachments will be strictly removed. He also assured for the construction of the parking and the municipal markets in the Jammu city in the coming days. |
