Kathua, Nov 17 : A Kathua based RTI activist, Paramjit Singh Gurain has criticized the CAPD Deptt and state government for their alleged failure to stop black marketing of ration and ongoing corrupt practices at most of the ration depots in district Kathua.
Parmjit Singh Gurain said that many times they called on CAPD department and administration but got only hollow assurances. He further said that BPL families were the worst sufferers of the act of CAPD. He also termed FCI as totally involved in black marketing.
"If we see that FCI's role in depth then we will find that it is the biggest platform of black-marketing of ration which causes huge loss to the innocent and poor consumers", he said, adding that CAPD deliver only the 40% as per the ration holder's population and remaining 60% was still a mystery.
