Jammu, Nov 17: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee vice president Gulam Nabi Monga has asserted that the upcoming assembly elections in state would be held at time. According to press release, a large attended meeting of Halqa Presidents, prominent workers of Hajin (Sonwari) was held at Hajin district Bandipora today, presided over by Gulam Nabi Monga, MLC, Vice President J&K PCC. Moinul Haque. Those who addressed the gathering included Farooq Andrabi, Imtiyaz Parray , Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, Gulam Mohd Mir and others. Speaking on the occasion Gulam Nabi Monga expressed his serious concern over the slow pace of development in Hajin and others areas in District Bandipora and said that much has been said in respect of development of district Bandipora, but there is a different situation on the ground, like roads are in dilapidated condition, people are suffering due to shortage of drinking water, non availability of electricity etc. Referring to Congress Party's performance, Gulam Monga Said Congress is a vibrant situation in Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that it will perform better in 2014 Assembly Elections, as people have realized that Congress is the only party which can serve the people best. In this connection he said both Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are very deeply interested in the over all development of the J&K State. He further said that Assembly Elections will be held at an appropriate time and there must no doubt about that, he told the workers. |
