Jammu, Nov 17: A function was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar to conduct the Cluster Level Common Minimum Programme (CMP) Activities Competitions in which 200 children of the cluster KVs participated. The Kendriya Vidyalayas which participated in the competitions included KV-Hira Nagar, Samba, Miran Sahib, Bantalab, Damana, Sunjuwan, Nagrota, No.1 and No.2, Jammu. Prof. P N Shastri, Principal Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Jammu Chief guest on the occasion highlighted the need of such activities. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the venue officiating Principal Romi Amrit by presenting a bouquet. Chief Guest appreciated the children for coming forward to participate in such programmes with zeal and interest. He added that to bear the good ethics the need of the hour and the participants of the programme do possess it according to his observation. He appreciated the KVS organization for having this type of modules fo young children at the budding stage. Competitions for different activities viz. group song, extempore, English poem recitation and painting were conducted on this occasion. Awards were given to the winners in these competitions. |
