Jammu, Nov 29: Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement today held strong protest, demonstration along with hundreds prominent citizens, traders at Janipur high court road in Jammu against the rising rapes/crime rate against the women in the country. The protesters burnt the effigies of the rapists, Tarun Tej Pal, Narain Swami, Assa Ram and the criminals. They demanded for the strict laws, setting fast tracks court, time bound punishments and the death sentence for the criminals for the rapes cases. Sunil Dimple criticized the UPA Congress ministers shielding the Tehlka editor Tarun Tej pal and not arresting him even after so many days of the complain by the 23 years old girl victim of Tej Pal heinous crime. He demanded Kapil Sibal the Uncle of the Tej pal should resign immediately and demanded the Govt to act against Tarun Tej pal. He expressed serious concern over the increasing rapes and the crime rates against the women in the country. He said the laws of the country are so weak that the criminals are encouraged by the weak law against the rapists. Dimple said Congress party is saving Tej Pal and the political links are protecting him from the action and he is moving freely. Sunil Dimple said there are many cases, the "rapes of mentally retarded girls in the NGO Home at Channi Rama, their abortions in the nursing homes" of Jammu and the growing rapes in the Jammu Kashmir state, Gangyal, Reasi case, and in the country by the Congress ministers and the VIPs and the by the self made God man Asa Ram. He demanded the chief minister Omar Abdulla and the Govt should reply on this that why the rapes incidents are increasing in the state? The other prominent leaders who joined the protest include Surinder Saraf, Vinod Suri, Sham Saroop gupta, Om parkash Gupta, Ramesh chander Kohli, Ashok Khana Pt Shama, Som Nath Sharma, Ashok Khana, Kulwant Sharma.
