| No differences with Azad, : Soz | | |

RAJOURI, Nov 29: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC)chief Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz today affirmed that he has no differences with Ghulam Nabi Azad and both are equally concerned about welfare of the state. He was addressing a thickly attended public meeting at Rajouri. Prof Soz while criticising Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leadership for declaring Narinder Modi as their Prime Ministerial candidate said that the country may face communal strife if he reaches the highest seat of power. He appealed to the people of the state to defeat communal candidates in the forthcoming Parliamentary election and bring Congress in the power as it is the only party in the country with secular ideologies. Soz accompanied by Shabir Khan, Health Minister was addressing a public meeting at PWD Dak Bunglow at Rajouri. He appreciated efforts of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and his government for the construction of Mughal road but said that Congress had also played a major role in the inception of this dream project and providing funds for its construction. He appreciated the functioning of Shabir Khan, Health minister and appealed to the people of the district to extend their full support to him. Speaking on the implementation of amendments in Panchayat Act in J&K, Prof Soz said that Congress is in its favour but they are coalition partner in the State government and can't take independent decision in this matter.
