SUNDERBANI, Nov 29: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Sunderbani concluded week long celebrations of National Integration in a valedictory function here today. Principal of College, Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma who was chief guest on the occasion, inaugurated the function by enlightening the traditional lamp followed by the Saraswati Bandana by the NSS volunteers of the college. Prof. Sharma, in his address to students, recalled the themes of the National Integration. He asked the NSS volunteers to foster and reinforce the spirit of communal harmony, National Integration and pride in India's vibrant composite culture and the Nationhood. NSS group leader Manoj presented the report of the activities organized during the week including symposium, rally, and other competitions on National Integration. The winners of the various events were also given prizes. The NSS volunteers performed cultural activities on the occasion. A large number of students and staff members attended the program. Earlier, Dr. Deepali Khajuria welcomed the audience. Vikas Sharma, senior NSS volunteer, presented the formal vote of thanks whereas Anu Sharma conducted the proceedings of programme.
