Early Times Report

Srinagar, Nov 29: Justifying the Class-Boycott call given by students, Principal Government Medical College Srinagar today said that they can't disqualify any students till facts are not established.
"Neither Crime Branch nor any other investigating agency has approached us in this regard so far. Till facts are not established, tainted students can't be expelled from the College," Dr Rafiq Ahmed Pampori said adding that strike of students is genuine as their reputation is at stake.
He said that whatever information we are getting so far is coming all from media. "Whatever happened was not good. So many things will come out now. Ultimately it is the hardworking student who is feeling the brunt of this paper leak and selling scam," Dr Pampori said.
While replying to a question, Principal GMC Srinagar said that things are not clear yet. "We are not in a position to take any decision right now. Surely, students allegedly involved in this scam will face music after facts get established," he said.
