Udhampur, Nov 29: Police, in its continued drive against criminals/absconders, today arrested one absconder who was evading his arrest for the last 13 years, police said.
According to police reports, the accused was wanted in case FIR No.37/2000 U/S 457/380 RPC and case FIR No.213/2002 U/S 457/380 RPC of Police Station Udhampur. "Based on an input regarding the presence of this absconder in Udhampur, a Police party from Police Station Udhampur led by Inspector Deepak Jasrotia SHO Police Station Udhampur arrested the said absconder identified namely as Maphu s/o Bholi of Omala Udhampur, police said. After his arrest police produced the accused in the court of law for further action.
