GMC students boycott classes for 2nd consecutive day

Srinagar, Nov 29: Government Medical College Srinagar students did not attend their classes on Friday for the consecutive second day. The students are demanding the immediate disqualification of tainted students allegedly involved in BOPEE CET paper leak and selling scam.
Reports said that GMC students boycotted the classes on Friday urging upon the Authorities to take stern action against the tainted students. "We will not attend the classes till fishy students are not shown door. Our reputation is at stake as people cast doubts on the genuine students as well," one of the students said.
Another student claimed that it is astonishing that even tainted students who have been exposed by Crime Branch in their report submitted to Court are taking part in protests. "These students must be disqualified as they are the source of disrepute and Authorities at least should not allow them to enter into College till further orders," he said. The students said that they will not attend the classes till the matter is not cleared.
