Jammu, Nov 29: A consumer awareness camp was organized by Department of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution (CA&PD) at Indira Colony, Janipur Jammu today during the distribution of scheduled kerosene oil delivery in the area.
According to spokesperson, the said camp was organized under the supervision of Preeti Sharma, Assistant Director, Rationing Circle-I, CAPD in association with Roshan Lal Dutta, Puneet Kumar, Chander Shekhar and Jai Shanker, Area Inspectors along with Suresh Giri, Subash Chander, officials of CA&PD and Gopal Sharma, president, Ward No. 36. During the kerosene oil distribution the above mentioned officials made people aware about their consumer rights and due use of government supplies being provided by the concerned department. A large number of locals present on the occasion appreciated the initiative undertaken by the department. |
