Jammu, Dec 15: All Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Bhushan Verma here at press club. Addressing the media persons, AJKLTF General Secretary Maheshwar Prasad said that the overall scenario of education and problems faced by teaching community. He said that the education department was violating civil service rules at broader level, adding that large number of HSS and HS were headless, some masters, headmasters and lecturers were adjusted in other districts in 2010-11. "Hundreds of masters have been attached in the office of CEO Jammu, Kathua and Samba, and the education authorities have made mockery of order of administrative department of J&K" said Prasad. He further said that the teachers promoted as masters in 2013 were adjusted in their home districts, and the education authorities have made many transfers of masters giving suitable posts to masters coming from other districts to Jammu district. They urged chief minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene to stop the autocratic attitude of authorities of education department. |
