| POJK refugee front takes out rally | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 15: Families uprooted from Pakistan occupied areas of Jammu and Kashmir due to Indo- Pak wars of 1947, 65, 71 today assembled at Mubarak Mandi. According to press release, protester demanded that those who escaped the mayhem reached safer places. 31619 families were kept in the camps established by state and union governments. "About 10,000 families couldn't join the camps and about 5500 families fled to other states. Thousands of families remained unregistered and these families were given a step motherly treatment by state government" protesters said. They said that those families had not been settled permanently by union and state government due to ill will of Kashmir based leaders who had been baised, through out towards refugees. They further said that the subcommittee of Parliamentary Standing Committee visited Jammu and Kashmir from Nov 5 -7. The Executive committee led by Rachhpal Singh Chib, and demanded for one time settlement of POJK refugee. |
