| Woman crushed to death | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 15: An old woman was crushed to death by a speeding bus near Thanamandi tehsil headquarter this evening.
Police said that 65 years old Ism Bi wife of Anyat Shah resident of Gurdhan, Rajouri had gone to Churung in Thanamndi to visit her parents house.
At about 2.30 pm when she was crossing the road to head towards Churang, a speeding bus bearing registration number JK02E-0855 on way to Rajouri crushed her.
She was immediately shifted to nearby hospital and after preliminary treatment at Thanamandi she was referred to district hospital at Rajouri but she succumbed due to excessive bleeding. Police have registered a case against the driver Madan Lal under section 304-A of RPC.
