| JKP takes out rally against drug abuse | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 18: To create awareness about drugs abuse among the masses, Jammu Kashmir Police today took out a rally under the Civic Action Programme at Kathua.
The rally was flagged off by the DIG JKP Shakeel Ahmad Baig. The students and senior citizens participated in rally and raised anti Drug slogans. While speaking on the occasion DIG Shakeel Ahmad Baig said that the increased alcoholism and drug abuse is not only shattering the lives of youth but also leading to disorder and chaos in the society which lays the foundation of various types of dangerous crime.
He said the JKP have come out with a series of programme to prevent drug abuse and rehabilitate the addicts. He also said that the people should also come out to co-operate the police in this fight to root out this deep root of crime so that society could be prevented and be given a safe and crime free atmosphere. |
