Jammu, Dec 18: Ekramul Haque, Chief (HR), NHPC Limited Regional Office, Jammu received the "Best State Nodal Officer" award and Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner Secretary J&K Government "Best Education Department" award from Pranab Mukherjee, President of India during the National Energy Conservation Day awards ceremony 2013 held in Vigyan Bhavan on last Monday, New Delhi. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of State for Power(Independent Charge), P K Sinha, Secretary (Power), Government of India, Dr Ajay Mathur, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency and Neerja Mathur, Chairperson, Central Electricity Authority (CEA).
National Awareness Campaign on Energy Conservation 2013 was launched by the Union Ministry of Power which includes Painting Competition as one of the activities for students of 4th, 5th, 6th standard in category-A and 7th, 8th, 9th standard in category-B at the School, State and National Level. |
