JAMMU, Dec 18: The rail and air services today remained affected due to dense fog and poor visibility in this winter capital of the state here.
"The departure and arrival of trains remained affected due to dense fog while the flights also delayed for few hours from scheduled time," an official here said.
He said that around three flights were cancelled while all others flew late ranging from two to three hours and nearly five trains also arrived late at Jammu Tawi Railway Station this morning due to fog and poor visibility in New Delhi and other places.
"Due to poor visibility, the trains are arriving few hours and also departing late from here," he added.
Rajdhani Express, Samparak Kranti, Hemkunt Express, Pooja Express, Shalimar Express were the affected trains that arrived here two to three hours late from its scheduled time.
However passengers at the platform are facing hardships in the intense cold conditions due to delayed rail services.
