| CCI laments poor BSNL services | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 18: In an emergency meeting of the office bearers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) held under the chairmanship of President YV Sharma, the members strongly condemned the poor and deteriorating services of BSNL especially with regard to Mobile services. Members expressed that earlier on October 21, Chamber had issued a press release in this regard and after that the BSNL authorities had assured the Chamber that the services will be improved and set right by ending November but till date nothing concrete has happened on ground rather the services have further deteriorated, and there is tremendous call drop and due to weak signals the running calls get dis-connected and the number goes out of reach while talking a particular person and for completing his conversation the subscriber has to dial a particular number many times which not only causes inconvenience but also results into addition of many unwanted calls to the account of subscriber. Members were also of the opinion that in the present times the mobile has become very important for ever one to carry out day to day activities and when it stops functioning in a proper way it is exasperating. Prominent among others present in the meeting include Anil Gupta, Jr. Vice President CCI, Arun Gupta, Secretary General CCI, Deepak Aggarwal, Secretary CCI and Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Treasurer CCI. |
