JAMMU, Dec 19: Prof. Nageshwar Rao and Prof. Sushma Yadava have joined Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) as Pro Vice Chancellors.
Prof Nageshwar Rao has earlier served as the Vice Chancellor of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allhabad (UP). An eminent scholar and gold medalist from Allahabad University, Prof. Rao has worked in various academic capacities in Vikram University, Ujjain; Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi; and University of Allahabad apart from other important positions held like Member of the Governing Council in Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and President of the Indian Accounting Association.
Professor Sushma Yadava, who has earlier served as an eminent Professor of Public Policy and Governance in Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi has joined IGNOU as Pro Vice Chancellor. An eminent scholar and gold medalist from the Delhi University, Prof. Yadava has a very rich teaching and research experience of about 30 years. She has also been Chair Professor, Dr Ambedkar Chair in Social Justice in Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. |
