Jammu, Dec 19: Carmel Convent High School, Kunjwani, Jammu organized a special weeklong ceremony to mark Christmas festivity and to pay obeisance to Lord Jesus besides celebrating joy because of belief of God. According school spokesperson, during this week long ceremony a number of activities were organized in which students of the school participated with full enthusiasm. “Among the various activities main competitions were carol signing competition and presentation of Christmas Scenes, spokesperson added. While students left audience and faculty members spell bound not only by their melodious voice but also by creating a spiritual ambiance on the other hand participants in presentation of Christmas scenes competition recreated the historic times by enacting the epic and revered scenes from Holy Bible.
Principal of the School Sr Maria Suzette AC, while speaking on the occasion appreciated the efforts of students for their efforts in various competitions. In her speech she also highlighted the unique features of Christmas faith, the most fundamental among them is Incarnation of Love leading to Christmas. |
