Jammu, Dec 19: Continuing its further probe in minor's murder case that left locals in Khandwal in Satwari shocked, the police working on lead of 'religious sacrifice,' today detained some local 'tantriks' (witch hunters) to crack the blind murder mystery. Police sources claimed "after the questioning of two suspected relatives of the deceased nothing was yielded out, however after getting permission from senior police officials, police is working on the lead of 'religious sacrifice'. Sources however added that police yet has not ruled out the case of sexual abuse i.e. a case of sodomy as it yet is awaiting the autopsy report of the victim. Police sources further said "the father of the victim a tailor by profession and the socio-economic status of family is low so there could be no question of ransom. They, however adding to it said that even the angle of the rivalry of the deceased cannot be ruled as the deceased was only 7 years. "Though the police are looking for rivalry of father of the victim, they said, adding, "but this out rightly has been rejected by the family of deceased.' SHO Satwari Inspector Arvind Sambyal when contacted told that we are working on multiple leads so that case can be cracked as soon as possible and we are also waiting for the post-mortem and FSL reports.
