Jammu, Dec 21: Two unknown motorcycle borne youths today assaulted a Vodafone employee near Indira Chowk Canal Road and decamped with a bag snatched from him, police sources said.
As per sources, one Rohit Kumar s/o Kuldeep Singh of Toph, working with Vodafone cellular service providing company on way to his home after collecting payment from the dealers was assaulted by two unknown motorcycle borne youth. "After pushing him down from his motorcycle, they snatched the bag fled from the spot, sources said.
Sources said some passersby and cops cane to rescue the victim who was immediately rushed to the GMC & Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile while recording his statement to police, the victim said that the bag which usually filled with cash was empty as he had kept the cash in his pocket. Canal Road Police have registered a case in this connection and has started manhunt to arrest them. |
