Jammu, Jan 31: Roots in Kashmir (RIK) has taken serious note of alleged insensitiveness of state government and Union government regarding electoral rights of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits. According to press release, a meeting of executive body of RIK was held at Jammu under the chairmanship of MK Koul, Chairman Political Affairs Committee, who said that state government in connivance with state election commission has been and was creating impediments for the displaced community to stop them from using their right of franchising.
"If the cumbersome process is not made easy then displaced people will have to rethink about their right to vote", he said. |
