| Multi crore JKCA scam likely to haunt Farooq during LS Polls | | AAP likely to confront Senior Abdullah | | Javaid Naikoo SRINAGAR, Jan 31: The alleged involvement of National Conference (NC) president in multi crore JKCA scam of 2012 is likely to haunt him during forthcoming Lok Sabha (LS) elections as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to confront politicians with corruption cases pending against them to project their own candidates to contest LS Polls. Among others, the NC patron and Union Minister for Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah who according to media reports figures in Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's list of most corrupt politicians of India is likely to be confronted with his alleged involvement in multi crore cricket scam of 2012. Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party today released the list of corrupt politicians of India which according him was likely to swell further. According to reports among some other prominent faces of the country, AAP's list of alleged corrupt politicians included Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, Union Ministers Kapil Sibal, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Veerappa Moily, GK Vasan, Salman Khurshid, Kamaal Nath, Sri Prakash Jaiswal, Farooq Abdullah and Sharad Pawar. The reports reveal that AAP which is planning to contest on around 350 seats in forthcoming LS polls after success in Delhi. Pertinently in 2012 Union Minister and NC patron Farooq Abdullah who also happens to be the president of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), landed in trouble after a multi crore cricket scam involving siphoning off funds to the tune of around Rs. 24.64 crore meant for the cricket infrastructure and over all development of sports structure by creating bogus accounts surfaced in the said body. |
