Jammu, Feb 8: The State Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved following transfers and postings.
According to the order Baseer Ahmad Khan, IAS (JK:01), Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department, against an available vacancy.
Saleem Mohammad, IAS (JK:02), awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Rural Sanitation, J&K, against an available vacancy whereas Saugat Biswas, IAS (JK:06), Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, transferred and has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, vice Farooq Ahmad Lone.
Sheetal Nanda, IAS (JK:06), Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, vice Saugat Biswas.
Shah Faesal, IAS (JK:10), Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pulwama, upon being promoted to the senior time scale of IAS, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, vice Mohammad Yousuf Zargar. Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, IAS (JK:10), Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nubra, has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, Communication and Capacity Development Unit, PHE and I&FC Department, relieving Bharti Vaid of the additional charge of the post.Meantime Tasneem Maajid, KAS, Director, Public Relations, KBI, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department while Ghulam Ahmad Khwaja, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, has transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department.
The state cabinet also has ordered the transfer of Mohammad Javed Khan, KAS, Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, vice Baseer Ahmad Khan. Farooq Ahmad Lone, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, vice Ghulam Ahmad Khwaja.
Mohammad Yousuf Zargar, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipore, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department; Nazim Zai Khan, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir, vice Mohammad Javed Khan; Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, KAS, Member, Services Selection Board, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Department of Tourism and Culture; Abdul Salam Mir, KAS, OSD with the Minister of State for Animal and Sheep Husbandry, has been transferred and posted as Member, Services Selection Board, J&K while R S Sodhi, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Technical) in the Home Department. Whereas G A Sofi, Director, State Motor Garages, shall hold the charge of the post of Joint Transport Commissioner, in addition to his own duties, till further orders; Nasreen Khan, Incharge Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museu, J&K, has been transferred and shall await further orders in the Department of Tourism and Culture. Secretary to the Government, Department of Tourism and Culture, shall hold the charge of the post of Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museu, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
