Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 8: With the aim to divert youth's attention towards culture and Sikhism, the Sikh Youth Welfare Society (SYWF) Kathua decided to start Gurumukhi (Punjabi Basics) classes, Sikh History and Crash Course for English (Grammar for 8th, 10th and 12th classes) free on the Gurudwara premises from Sunday. According to press release the learners have to reach at District Gurudwara every Sunday at 12:30 sharp. The leaders of SYWF Bhupinder Singh Sehgal, Shagun Deep Singh, Harjinder Singh informed that it's an effort to unite the youth to the culture and Sikhism besides inculcating moral values among the present youth. Sehgal said that it's an alarming bell for the community that youth are diverting towards modernization and continually forgetting their own culture which should be controlled instantly. He added that SYWS has taken an initiative in the promotion of culture besides try to help the youth in academic side too. Shagun Deep Singh Bali apprised that while viewing on forthcoming examinations, SYWS, besides Punjabi classes, is going to start crash course for English (Grammar) where students studying in board classes (8th, 10th and 12th) can clarify their doubts in special classes. |
