| Media person among four injured in 'Lagote clash' | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 27: A camera man of an electronic media and three others were brutally assaulted when a two groups of Jat community clashed in the Shiv temple at Sahar Khud, National Highway, Logate at Kathua on Wednesday. On the critically injured has been referred to Military Hospital Pathankot today.
The injured have been identified namely as Kuldeep Choudhary (Camera man of an electronic media), Vijay Choudhary, Avtar Krishan Choudhary, and Darshan Lal Choudhary who was later referred to MH Pathankot from Kathua.
As per police sources the two groups clashed to maintain supremacy/authority over the Shiv Temple located at Sahar Khud near National Highway Logate Morh at Kathua. Though the dispute already has been brought into the notice of district administration but the heated arguments took ugly turn even in the presence of police in the premises of the temple. Meanwhile, the Press Council of Kathua has condemned the assault on Camera man of an electronic media Kuldeep Choudhary. |
