| Amarnath Yatris to be given temporary Sim Cards | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today felicitated the functionaries for their contribution to previous Amarnath Yatra. "Every possible steps are being taken by the Shrine Board to facilitate Yatris during their pilgrimage to Shri Amarnath Cave," Vohra said in his address at a function her this morning.
Referring to the progressively better facilities being extended to the yatris each year, the Governor said that the yatris who desire to avail telecom connectivity enroute would be provided temporary SIM Card of seven days validity during this year's Yatra. Advance weather warning system would facilitate the Board and the yatris to use the information for planning safe movement in the Yatra area, he added. The Governor advised the Niyas to work out a comprehensive plan for the facilities to be provided to the Buda Amarnath Yatris and complimented the office bearers of Niyas, Divisional and District Administration and all sections of the society for making Shri Amarnath Yatra successful every year.
