| BJP Muslim Morcha leader accuses NC-Cong for attacking BJP leaders | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Apr 12: BJP Muslim Morcha President and Party candidate from Anantnag -Pulwama Parliamentary Constituency, Mushtaq Ahmed Noorabadi has accused the National Conference (NC) and Congress of attacking the BJP leaders and activists during campaigning. Noorabadi said that the attack on his convoy during his election tour to Shopian on Thursday and his Party district president in Pulwama yesterday has exposed both the coalition partners who are desperate after seeing the poor response of people to their poll rallies in the Valley and Jammu region. He said the main reason for this desperation among the NC -Congress leadership is that Modi wave like other parts of country has gripped Kashmir Valley as well and people of Valley don't consider BJP as untouchable now and they too favour that Modi should take over as Prime Minister after the elections. NC-Congress leadership is frustrated by the sincere assurance of BJP to restore peace in J&K , settle the problems of West Pak refugees, PoK refugees and displaced people from Valley besides joining the separated families. This has led to lot of desperation in the Congress-NC camp and they have resorted to attacking the BJP leadership in Valley as the Party is becoming popular day by day in Kashmir Valley as well as Ladakh region. Noorabadi said the BJP will not be cowed down by such attacks made on the Party leaders and workers out of frustration by NC-Congress and it is sure make the two parties eat the dust in these elections. The Party will pursue all the policies launched by Vajpayee led government to settle the problems of people in this border State besides improving ties with neighbouring Pakistan so that the people of two separate Kashmirs can join each other for the everlasting peace in Sub Continent. He said Vajpayee is the only leader among Indian Prime Ministers who is popular in Kashmir and people praise his policies which created a new hope among them. They are hopeful that Modi will also pursue these policies and take the nation on the path of development and progress. The BJP leader accused the two coalition partners of misleading the people of State for continuing the dynastic rule at State and Centre and still they are spreading canards against BJP which is unacceptable. |
