Jammu, Apr 12: Police today arrested a miscreant and recovered a sharp-edged weapon (toka) from his possession at RS Pura.
"Acting on a tip off, Police laid a surprise naka at Daljit Chowk, RS Pura and intercepted a motorcycle (JK02J-2101) which was driven by one Naik Mohd of Khada Madana and pillion rider namely Maneer Ahmed of Birpur, police said.
"During their personal search, police recovered one sharp-edged weapon (Toka) from them", said spokesman adding that both the accused were arrested by the police.
A case under FIR No. 77/14 under section 4/25-Arms Act was registered at R S Pura Police Station and Investigation is on. |
