4/12/2014 11:40:43 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 12: The BJP will not only win the Jammu Lok Sabha seat with a huge margin, but will also re-capture the Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, said Prof. Hari Om, political advisor to state BJP president Jugal Kishore Sharma, on Saturday while commenting on the high turnout of voters on April 10 in the Jammu Parliamentary Constituency. He said the victory margin of Jugal Kishore Sharma could be between 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh voters, and added that this would be a record victory. "The BJP will lead in at least 16 of the assembly segments of Jammu, Samba, Rajouri and Poonch districts," he said. Prof. Hari Om said that a very strong pro-BJP and Narendra Modi wave is sweeping in the entire Jammu province like the rest of the country and the BJP will not only repeat its 1996, 1998 and 1999 performance in Jammu province by winning both the Lok Sabha seats with a huge margin but would also capture the lone Ladakh Lok Sabha seat. He further said that the BJP will perform exceptionally well in the Kashmir valley as well where the party candidates are getting good response for the people, and added that the negative campaigning unleashed by the issueless, directionless and failed Congress-NC leadership has angered the people of the state in general and Jammu and Ladakh in particular.
"The people of Jammu and Ladakh are determined to punish the anti-people, anti-democratic and pro-separatist Congress-NC coalition and return to the Lok Sabha BJP candidates from the state. A coalition which has only subverted the state polity, undermined all democratic and constitutional institution, accorded a dangerous legitimacy to the evil of corruption, failed the people of the State on all fronts and poisoned the whole atmosphere in the state by giving a religious colour to the ongoing electoral exercise has no right to seek people's mandate. The ruling coalition has not only vitiated the social and political atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir but has also endangered national security by pursuing pro-separatist and highly communal policies," said Prof. Hari Om, adding that the Congress and NC become a story of the past afterMay 16.
