| Dabgotra files appeal to 1st Appellant Authority GMC&H, AHs | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 7: Som Nath Dabgotra Chairman Dabgotra Charitable Trust and RTI activist today filed a appeal to 1st Appellant Authority Govt medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) and Associated Hospitals after the organization has yet not received reply to its RTI No:- AHJ/RTI/2014/564-66 dtd 3/4/2014 filed to PIO- GMCH and Associated Hospital Jammu. While questioning the reluctant approach from PIO GMC&H Jammu, Mr Dabgotra, said, "Why the concerned authorities didn't reply of RTI filed by the trust?" "In a Provision in RTI act it is mandatory to give reply within thirty days, he said adding, "the inordinate delay towards the RTI itself shows that something wrong is there and thus another appeal was filed to 1st Appellant Authority GMCH and Associated Hospitals of our RTI No:- AHJ/RTI/ 2014/290-91 dated 15/2/2014 filed to PIO-GMC&H and Associated Hospital Jammu." Through this RTI the trust has asked authorities that on the direction of Taj-Mohi-ud-din Minister of Health and Medical Education the samples of drugs were sent for test from GMC&H and Associated Hospitals Jammu. What is the name of the companies, drug name of which samples have failed? How many samples were sent for test? It also had sought that since when the defaulting companies (whose samples have failed) were supplying medicines to GMC&H and Associated Hospital Jammu? And what is the present status of the drug samples which were sent for test? It also has sought details regarding audit of Death/Medicine in Medicine Department, Emergency and Wards in GMC& H Jammu and when the last such audit was done. Dabgotra also had pin pointed that the audit has been done in both Ortho and Surgery Department but no such audit was done in Medicine department and has sought an independent inquiry in this matter. |
