Jammu, May 7: National Delegate of National Student Union of India Choudhary Naseeb Ali today addressed a press conference at Jammu University and criticized JU authorities for the murky state of affairs regarding failure of authorities to deal with student issues. Lambasting the university authorities, Naseeb Ali said that Jai Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Jammu University has been appointed as In charge, General Zorawar Singh Auditorium for which the criteria of eligibility is Ph.D or MBA with 10 years experience in that industry and the sad part of episode is that Sharma doesn't have any such qualification and experience. Further, Choudhary said that unemployment is at peak in Jammu and there are some persons who are holding more than one position in utter disrespect to the University Council guidelines. Choudhary said that NSUI demands immediate removal of J.K. Sharma from dual post and should retain a single post. He warned that If Sharma is not removed from his second post within 24 hours, NSUI will launch an indefinite agitation against Jammu University authorities.
