| Health employee held for molestation attempt, suspended | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 7: A Health employee posted at Trauma Hospital in Kangan was arrested by the police following a complainant from female patient regarding alleged molestation attempt by him and health authorities have put his under suspension.
According to the reports following the complainant from a female patient visited the health centre for the routine checkup at Trauma Hospital Kangan-Ganderbal where the accused allegedly assaulted her. She raised the alarm following which people and her attendants protested against the employee- demanding stern punishment for him.
Later brother of the victim approached the Medical Superintendent of the said Hospital Dr Javee after which police was called in to take legal action in this regard.
On receiving information, the police team from Police Station Kangan reached to the spot and arrested the accused.
"A case against FIR number 33/2014 u/s 354 of RPC stands registered against accused, police sources said.
Meanwhile the health authorities through an official order vide MS/SDH/87/89 dtd 07/05/2014 placed the accused health employee under suspension. |
