Mendhar, May 11: Educational tour organized by Krishna Ghati Brigade, today flagged off at Mendhar town.
According to press release, during the tour group consisted 20 youth and two senior citizens of the area visited Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and Noida.
The tour was organized for economically backward youth and Senior Citizens of far flung and border areas of Mendhar, Tain, Chirangri, Chajjla, Choi, Bobby Camp.
Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade flagged off the tour on 10 May 2014 from Mendhar town amidst attendance of large number of Civilian dignitaries as well as general public. SDM, and SDPO, Mendhar and other Government Officials along with a large number of civilians attended the function.
The people expressed their gratitude to the Army for giving an opportunity to their youth & senior citizens to see other parts of the country, which otherwise would not have been possible for them. |
