Kishtwar, May 11: To mitigate the grievance, the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan today convened public grievances meeting.
According to press release, the DC was accompanied by S P Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal and officers of Revenue, PHE, Education, PDD, PWD, Social Welfare, CAPD, PMGSY, GREF and Health. Prominent persons including senior citizens, Sarpanches and social and political activists attended the meeting. They highlighted their various demands regarding the maintenance and widening of roads, condition of schools, health institutions, ration supply, Electricity, drinking water, uneven market rates, drainage and other problems. The DC Kishtwar gave a patient hearing to all the representatives and directed the concerned officers to take necessary action to mitigate these problems. He appealed to all the participants to work in harmony for the development of Kishtwar and assured them that all the genuine demands of the public will be taken care of .The local representatives appreciated this move of district administration. |
