BHADERWAH, May 11: Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu today held an interactive meeting with prominent members of civil society, media, police and civil administration. The meeting was chaired by Prof. G. M Bhat, Rector Bhaderwah Campus. Delivering welcome address, Bhat presented profile of Bhaderwah Campus and also highlighted the initiatives being taken by the administration for the overall progress and development of the Institution. They further hoped that the campus will outshine many other Institutions in the state under able guidance of Prof. GM Bhat, Rector Bhaderwah Campus. On the occasion, locals also made few suggestions which included the inclusion of new courses, full-fledged medical facilities for campus, public outreach and extension activities involving general public. They also appealed Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu to include the campus in winter zone as institution falls in tuff mountain geographical area. They also appreciated the efforts of present administration and offered their full support and cooperation in all future endeavors of the campus. Participants demanded opening of new subjects along with BEd college in the campus. Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion includes, Prof. Mohd Iqbal Zargar, Mast Nath Yogi, Haji Ghulam Rasool, Chander Kant Sharma, Mohamed Saleem Wani, Riaz Ahmed Najar,Master Gulam Rasool Rangraz , Koushal Kumar Gupta, D.K Dogra and Majid Malik. |
