| PSA holds meeting, discusses issues | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 11: Representatives of Private Schools of District Reasi today held a meeting under the banner of Private School Association (PSA) and discussed all the problems being faced by the Private schools of Jammu Province due to ambiguous and unwarranted orders issued by the concerned Chief Education officers of different Districts. The meeting was chaired by Prof. J.L.Kotwal Chairman PSA Jammu Province & was address by Kamal Gupta President PSA Jammu Province, M.M. Joshi Gen. Secretary PSA Jammu Province & Ajay Gupta State coordinator PSA J&K. They said all such orders are not in uniformity with each other and in some cases contradictory to the orders issued by the Director School Education Jammu. President Kamal Gupta assured the house that such orders issued by the different CEO's will be strongly taken up to the higher author ties & association will take all type of steps to force the Govt. to adopt a uniform norms to deal with the matters like recognition upto 8th, counter sign of school leaving certificate etc. Chairman Prof J.L.Kotwal demanded that no such order or policy be implemented by any agency till the recommendations of review committee are not received by the Govt.He also appealed the Chairman of the committee Director School Education Jammu to arrange meeting of all members of J & K nominated by the Govt. as early as possible to frame transparent & proper guidelines for the smooth functioning of Private schools of Jammu and Kashmir. |
