Jammu, May 11: Receiving cold response from Jammu University authority regarding implementation of one man, one administrative post, National Students Union of India (NSUI) has decided to launch a signature campaign. Addressing press conference, chaired by Kamal Mangotra,state general secretary, NSUI in Jammu University cafeteria they said NSUI had raised an issue of implementation of one man, one administrative post in Jammu university but till date university authorities have taken no cognizance of this serious issue. The issue is of grave concern as several unemployed youth of our society who being highly qualified are being deprived of jobs. Further, Mangotra said that due to such a cold response from university authorities regarding this serious issue, NSUI has decided to launch a signature campaign inside Jammu University where every student of the campus will be invited to deliver his comments on this issue. Further these comments will be submitted to the vice-chancellor and the prior demand of this issue is the removal of Mr. J.K. Sharma, special secretary to vice-chancellor from the post of incharge, Zorawar Singh Auditorium as he is not eligible for that post. Besides this, he is holding three more posts. NSUI demands removal of J.K. Sharma from multi posts and confine him to a single post for which he is eligible and the policy of one man one administrative post should be implemented on war footing steps inside Jammu University. |
