Relatives of deceased youth allege inaction of police, seek action against SHO

Jammu, May 11 : Demanding registration of murder case against the accused tutor, relatives of the deceased (11th class student) along with locals of Domana area today blocked the Jammu-Poonch highway at Domana.
According to sources, a youth identified as Sandeep Choudhary son of Krishan Lal of Purkhoo on May 2 went to tuition and went missing and yesterday his body was recovered from Bakore area. Relatives of the deceased along with locals blocked the Jammu-Poonch road and placed the body of the youth on the road. Protestors demanded action against the SHO Domana for his inaction, despite lodging of missing report. They further said that the call records of mobile phone of deceased showed that he had a long and frequent conversation with his tutor, which raised suspicion, but police failed to take any action in this regard.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jammu reached the spot and assured the protestors about action if any found guilt.
