Jammu, May 11: Kranti Dal today demanded CBI probe for allegedly corrupt and illegal practices adopted by most of the ration dealers in the state. Addressing the Press Conference Kranti Dal President, Pritam Sharma demanded a CBI probe for corrupt and illegal practices adopted by most of the ration dealers in the state and particularly against whom enquiries and complaints are pending before any authority in the state. On one of the Krantidal representations filed by Manmohan Kumar, Panch of Ward No.10, Panchayat Halqa Maralia, Block-R.S.Pura, District Jammu, the Director CAPD, Jammu was pleased to direct TSO, R.S.Pura, Jammu to carry out physical inspection of the ration cards of Krishna Nagar under Panchayat Halqa Maralia, Block-R.S.Pura. Said order was passed long back but the TSO, R.S.Pura has carried out physically inspection recently on 20 & 21/04/2014 which revealed that 105 fake/factitious names have been running in the records of ration dealer of Krishna Nagar viz. Amar Singh Chowdhary and the said ration dealer has been drawing ration for the 105 fake persons since long causing a huge loss to the state exchequer. Krantidal also appreciated Manoj Kumar Tehsildar R S Pura who help the open this scandal. Krantidal also demands strong action against Kishore Kumar, Sarpanch, Panchayat Maralia for issuing Fake NOC to many people and issued Fake Rations Cards by Ration Dealer Amar Singh Lane. No.4, Ward No.10, Krishna Nagar R S Pura. "It is a trailer and we are confident that much more hit movies will come to screen if the matter (PDS distribution) is investigated properly and without any hindrance from any quarter", Pritam said, adding that in course of physical inspection it also revealed that some persons are having double ration cards which are not possible without the patronage of the concerned department. It is also pointed out that the ration dealers issue ration on the basis of census carried out in the year 2001 but they do not issue ration on the basis of census done in the year 2011/2012. We demand clarification by the Chief Minister over the issue which will help the poor public to avail the proper ration issued by the state government. |
