| To create tension before formation of new government in India, Pak starts misdemeanours on borders | | | Early Times report
Jammu, May 11: Following its failure to disrupt elections in the country, Pakistan has started its misdemeanors before formation of new government in India. During the last week, Pakistan has intensified its activities on the borders especially on the Line of Control (LoC) to encourage terror groups who have so far on run due to pressure mounted by the security agencies. Authoritative sources said that mentors of terrorists in Pakistan had tried to execute some attacks during Parliament elections but they failed due to internal security arrangements made by the agencies. "Terrorists had planned some VIP killings in the electioneering but they failed to do so", sources said and added that terrorists even failed to execute any big attack in Jammu and Kashmir also.Sources said following their failure to sabotage elections Pakistan has started its misdemeanours on the borders to create tension in this region before formation of the new government. On Saturday a group of terrorists supported by Pakistan tried to enter Indian side but two of them were eliminated by the alert security personnel.Pakistan today again fired along the line-of-control (LoC) at Nangi Tekri area in Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district.Sources said that Pakistan troops fired along the forward posts with assault rifles. Two terrorists on Saturday were shot dead in Bigial Dara area in Poonch, which is about 50km from this site of fresh firing. Source said it was also an attempt to push in terrorist by providing cover and also to divert the attention of the army. Pakistan has stepped up firing in Poonch and Rajouri districts for about month. An infiltration attempt was foiled in Sawjian area on May 3. The Pak army had fired along the Mendhar sector on May 28 also. Defence sources said there has been concentration of terrorists across the LoC, but they are not able to infiltrate because of the high alert and preparedness of the Indian army. |
