Early Times Report JAMMU, May 18: A meeting of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists was convened here today at Janipura to discuss the outcome of recent Parliament elections. While speaking on the occasion, Deep Singh, the founder and National Council member of AAP, said that so many positive and negative developments took place within the AAP during recent long election exercise due to lack of experience, ground level organization and other resources including the financial management but even then good intentions of leadership and innocent Indians have prevailed upon in an encouraging way. So far as AAP's required momentum in J&K is concerned, we must wait for next few days as Central leadership is presently busy in analyzing the party performance at country level, he added. While concluding, AAP activists present in the meeting in one voice demanded the resignation of state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on moral grounds in view of worst ever display of coalition state government during recent Parliament elections and his loud statements of recent past particularly at the time of nomination filing of Ghulam Nabhi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma. |
